From the States but I have lived in Japan for sixteen years where I currently work at a gym. It is exhausting to be an introvert in an extrovert's profession. I am trying to study programming so that I can eventually work in something I can do from anywhere. I was planning to use this journal to occasionally post about my progress learning, but now I'm really now sure what kinds of posts will be most common. I am also not very clear on Dreamwidth etiquette; I have followed some people who seem interesting; please feel free to follow back or not, either way.
In the old days when I was a college student I had a LiveJournal, and I think I am trying to recapture that feeling of having longish, coherent thoughts. I have currently disabled my Facebook and Instagram, finding them exhausting. I also want to remember how to convey my thoughts in English.
I'm very happy to make new friends on Dreamwidth, although I'm not sure how consistent I will be in using it.
